When we were first starting this company we got stuck, like everyone I guess, with the name. What should we call this new thing that we are trying to build?

In this process there were several names we liked, among them were several with nahuatl roots (nahuatl is the language of the Aztecs) like nextia (create), ixaya (open your eyes, which is a Mexican company already by the way) and corima (a tarahumara word for sharing). In the end, to make a long story short, we liked a small word, axai, that my friend Elías would describe as this:

We tried to mix several concepts and we liked Axai, basically we wanted something that communicated potential and strength like the seed of something new. A new seed

Axai is the seed of something new, a new seed that is arriving into the Mexico's world of small businesses. We strive to provide new solutions to help other businesses that cross our path all while learning about and working on something we enjoy. We hope to have a nice journey =).
